Christopher J. Torres founded ARK Law with one simple mission: to help California families protect the people and legacy they have worked so hard to build. As a husband, father of three daughters, and estate planning attorney, Christopher understands that protecting your family's future is one of life's greatest responsibilities. That perspective is at the heart of every estate plan he creates.
Before becoming an attorney, Christopher proudly served in the U.S. Navy as a Navy Diver, supporting missions on both the East and West Coasts in roles dedicated to our nation's security. During his military service, he was recognized for training and preparing fellow service members to perform successfully in some of the world's most demanding and high pressure environments. Those experiences shaped the discipline, attention to detail, and commitment to service that continue to define his legal practice today.
Christopher earned his Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from San Diego State University before receiving his Juris Doctor from California Western School of Law in San Diego, where he concentrated in Labor and Employment Law. While in law school, he served the local community through internships with both the Chula Vista City Attorney's Office and the Community Law Project, providing legal assistance to low-income and underserved individuals and families.
Prior to founding ARK Law, Christopher represented California Public Safety Officers facing internal affairs investigations. Through helping hundreds of first responders navigate some of the most stressful moments of their careers, he witnessed firsthand how quickly life can change, and how important it is to have a plan in place before the unexpected happens. That experience inspired him to dedicate his practice exclusively to estate planning, helping families prepare for the future with confidence rather than uncertainty.

As Director of Operations at ARK Law, Sarah Torres is dedicated to ensuring every client feels welcomed, supported, and cared for from the very first phone call through the completion of their estate plan. She believes that estate planning doesn't have to be intimidating, it can be a positive and empowering experience when you have the right people guiding you along the way.
Before joining ARK Law, Sarah built an accomplished career in sales and leadership. She began as a Sales Representative and worked her way up to Director of Sales at a flooring company, where she developed a passion for building relationships, leading teams, and creating exceptional client experiences. She earned her Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, combining her business expertise with a genuine passion for working and talking with people.
As a wife and mom of three girls, Sarah understands firsthand the joys, challenges, and responsibilities that come with raising a family. She knows how busy life can be and how easy it is to put estate planning on the back burner. That's why she is passionate about making the entire process simple, organized and low stress. Whether she's answering questions, helping clients navigate the next step, or simply talking about kids, family, or everyday life, Sarah strives to make every client feel like they're working with trusted friends, not just a law firm.
